Chateau Orquevaux Artist Residency (Sept. 2023)
Tucked within the rolling countryside of France’s Champagne region sits a 1700’s French Chateau turned Artist and Writer’s Residency. I spent a month there, making art day and night with a community of over 20 artist from around the world.
This experience was pivotal, not necessarily in the work that it generated, but in the strength that came from a renewed and profound passion for living an artful life. This experience strengthened my sense of artistic merit and trust in my abilities and goes to show a lot can be attained from a supportive community.
